Mark
C. Fitzgerald is responsible for overseeing the daily operations
of High Associates Ltd.; High Investors Ltd.; High Realty
Investors and High Securities. Additionally he guides the
planning, development and implementation of the strategic plans
for all investment-grade real estate held by High Real Estate
Group. Currently the portfolio has a projected market value
of approximately $500,000,000 with annual revenues of $75,000,000.
High Real Estate Group LLC's expertise is also applied to
the advantage of its external customers and Mr. Fitzgerald has
led major industrial/commercial development projects for customers
such as Albertson's and Philips CSI. Through a combination
of development and acquisition, 1,178,000 square feet of new commercial/industrial
properties with an aggregate market value of $90,000,000 were
added to the portfolio from 1993 to 2004 under Mr. Fitzgerald's
leadership.
During the same time,
the multi-family residential portfolio grew from 1,200 units to
2,874 units with a value of $167,000,000. The majority of
this growth came from acquisitions in existing markets in the
southeastern United States and the development of Class-A luxury
apartments in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Additionally, High Real Estate Group made its first entry
into the Charlotte, North Carolina office market. Through acquisition
and development, the Charlotte portfolio has now expanded to over
479,000 square feet. Further growth of the High portfolio
is currently underway via partnerships with Urdang Investment
Management and CBL Associates & Properties, Inc., for major
multi-family and retail developments, respectively.
Mr. Fitzgerald also plays a key role in structuring a public/private
partnership between Penn Square Partners and the Lancaster County
Convention Center Authority for the 300-room privately held Lancaster
Marriott at Penn Square coupled with a 180,000-square-foot, publicly-held
convention center. With an anticipated projected completion
date of 2008, the project will be the cornerstone of economic
revitalization in downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
A Certified Property
Manager (CPM) and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM),
Mr. Fitzgerald is active in industry and community activities.
He is a member of the National Association of Security Dealers
(NASD), the National Association of Realtors, the Pennsylvania
Association of Realtors, the Lancaster County Association of Realtors,
and the Institute of Real Estate Management. He is chairman
of the Board of Directors of the Schreiber Pediatrics Rehab
Center of Lancaster County.
Mr. Fitzgerald holds a B.S. in
Economics and Entrepreneurial Management from the University
of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
