Ms. Barr's brokerage career began in the Central Pennsylvania Region in 1985.  She joined High Associates Ltd. in 2002.

She attended Northern Illinois University and has been active in commercial real estate in Rhode Island, where she worked with two international companies: Reynolds Metals Development Corporation and Gilbane Building Company.  She also spent six years in management with John Deere Company in Syracuse, NY and Hartford, Ct.  She was Coordinator for a mixed-use $500 million urban renewal project with Harrisburg Development Corporation, Harrisburg, Pa.  She has served as a fee consultant to Physician's groups and among her clients included Keebler Corporation, UGI Utilities, Commerce Bank, American National Can Company, PA Builder's Association, and the PA Turnpike Commission. She currently represents the Perry County Economic Development Corporation in marketing the Perry County Business Campus One industrial development project.

Ms. Barr is a past President of the Greater Harrisburg Area Board of Realtors^® and has twice chaired their Commercial Council. She is a past Director of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors^® serving on the the Smart Growth Task Force.  Her community commitments include The Leukemia Society of America (local chapter), The Capital City Rotary Club, and service on the Advisory Board of the Regional Public Television Station, WITF.  She is a member of the Harrisburg Area Chamber of Commerce and has been featured in the Central Pennsylvania Business Journal as one of the few women in commercial/industrial real estate in the region. Ms. Barr's brokerage focus is on the sale and leasing of commercial and industrial buildings and land.
