Virginia Barr began her Commercial Real Estate career employed by the national firms, Reynolds Metals Development Corporation and Gilbane Building Company in New England as a leasing agent for various corporate projects. She attended Northern Illinois Universtiy and has been active in Commercial Real Estate in Texas and Rhode Island.

Ms. Barr has been a licensed Real Estate agent in Pennsylvania since 1985. She joined High Associates Ltd, Harrisburg Regional Office in 2002. Ms. Barr’s primary focus is commercial and industrial land and building sales and office leasing. She has represented corporate and regional clients in acquisition as well as disposition of real state assets. She has served as a consultant to physician groups.

Ms. Barr’s varied client base includes Commerce Bank, PA turnpike Commission, Keebler Corporation, UGI Utilities, Inc., the Perry County Economic Development Corporation and Rettew Engineers.

Ms. Barr has served as president of the Greater Harrisburg Board of Realtors, Chair of the Industrial, Commercial, Investment Committee and as Director of Pennsylvania Association of Realtors.

Her community service includes among others, Leukemia Society, Capital City Rotary Club and the Community Advisory Board of Public Television Station, WITF.

Ms. Barr is a member of the Harrisburg and West Shore Chambers of Commerce as well as The Pennsylvania Chamber of Business. She has been recognized by The Central Pennsylvania Business Journal as one of the first women in the field of Commercial Real Estate in the region.
