Ms. Annette Means joined the Harrisburg Regional Office of High
Associates Ltd. in 2000, after working in various real estate
disciplines since 1982.
Ms. Means received her Masters in Business Administration in Real
Estate and Urban Development from the American University in 1990
where she graduated in the top five percent of her class. She
obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture
from Penn State in 1982.
Ms. Means gained critical experience while a staff member of Harristown
Development Corporation, a quasi-public developer of various projects
within the City of Harrisburg. As Director of Development Services
at Harristown, she managed various aspects of projects such as
the Harrisburg Hilton and Towers, Strawberry Square, Market Square
Improvement Project, the Whitaker Center for Arts and Science
and the Fourth and Walnut Project. While at Harristown, she authored
“Downtown Revitalization in Small Cities” which was
published in the Urban Land Magazine.
While at High Associates, Ms. Means gained extensive experience
representing Central Pennsylvania’s largest health care
system successfully completing many medical suite transactions
earned her the recognition as the top medical office broker in
the market. Her landscape architecture and development experience
has been critical in the completion of numerous land transactions
with companies such as Dunkin Donuts, Dollar General, SICO Company,
High Associates, HR Weaver, Ressler Propane and Days Inn.
Over the last decade, Ms. Means has been responsible for a high
leasing volume with companies such as Modjeski and Masters, Print-O-Stat,
Accord Restoration, Dialysis Corporation of America, Canon Business
Solutions and Millennium Pharmacy. Utilizing her strong education
and unique problem solving skills, she has successfully completed
numerous difficult real estate transactions that required complex
analytical abilities.
Ms. Means teaches the “Commercial Module” required
for new Commercial Real Estate salespersons, for the Greater Harrisburg
Association of Realtors (GHAR). She also serves on the Public
Relations Committee for GHAR. Her other affiliations include Regional
Counsel of Volunteers of America and mentor for Bridge of Hope.
She also volunteers in the Lower Dauphin Schools and for her church
LCBC.
