Gerald (Gary) C. Stroud

Mr.
Stroud, High Associates' Property Services Manager, leads a team
of 27 full-time,
and 10 part-time grounds keepers, two automobile mechanics, two
roofing specialists and two building superintendents. Additionally,
he consults with the Commercial Asset and Residential Asset
Groups for all capital projects related to the upkeep of
the real estate portfolio. His primary responsibilities
are the
development and organization of the High Associates' property
services group which now services property owners outside
of the High portfolio. When Mr. Stroud joined the company in
1986, four laborers and one supervisor were responsible
for cutting grass and plowing snow. Under his leadership, Mr.
Stroud's team is now responsible for maintaining the building
structures and grounds for approximately 6 million square
feet of leasable commercial buildings and 12 residential communities
comprising 3,000 apartments.He
is a member of the Society of Property Professionals of BOMI and
has earned the SMT (System Maintenance Technician), SMA (System
Maintenance Administrator), and RPA (Real Property Administrator)
designations from the BOMI Institute.
Mr.
Stroud's former community involvement includes serving as
chairman of the Board of Directors of School to Work; a Board
member of the Private Industry Council, the Lancaster
Chamber of Business & Industry, the March of Dimes
and the Harrisburg Area Community College Advisory Committee.
Mr. Stroud holds a B.A. in
history from Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster, PA.
