Mark Fitzgerald is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of High Associates Ltd. He is also responsible for leading the planning, development and implementation of the strategic plans for the High Real Estate Group LLC real estate portfolio.
Additionally, Mr. Fitzgerald leads High Associates' operating companies which provide a broad array of clients with professional development, brokerage, appraisal, construction and facility services. During his tenure as President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Fitzgerald has overseen the significant growth of the High portfolio through strategic acquisitions and land development. Through enhancement of existing properties, development, acquisition and joint ventures, the High portfolio now exceeds 8 million square feet of commercial, industrial and multi-family residential properties located throughout the eastern U.S. valued at more than $600 million.
Having begun his real estate career in the Philadelphia area in 1985, Mr. Fitzgerald joined the High organization in 1989 as the Commercial Property Manager for High Associates. In 1991 he was promoted to Vice President of Commercial Asset Management and in 1996 he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Asset Management. He assumed the role of High Associates' Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in August 2001 and President and Chief Operating Officer in July 2004.
Mr. Fitzgerald holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He also holds a Pennsylvania Real Estate Salespersons License and earned his Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designations, and is a NASD Registered Representative.
Active in business and community activities through his leadership roles in various associations and organizations, Mr. Fitzgerald's past service includes Leadership Lancaster, United Way serving as a Loaned Executive; Finance Committee Chairperson for the Boy Scouts of America - Lancaster-Lebanon; and Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Schreiber Pediatrics Rehab Center of Lancaster County.
Mr. Fitzgerald is currently a member of Lancaster County Association of Realtors, Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, National Association of Securities Dealers and the Institute of Real Estate Management.
